It is possible one or two of our volunteers will be at the railroad on some of the days not listed. When known, additional opening times will be posted on the notice board located at the Vines Garden Railroad clubhouse.
We would like to extend our hours of operation, however we do need more volunteers to operate the trains before we can do this. If you would like to join us in this interesting hobby please call Lawrence McFall at (770) 554-9697.
There are no rules and membership is free.
2007 has been a year of sadness and loss for the family, friends and staff, of the Vines Garden Railroad. This being the departure of one of our associates, Hubert “Hub” Evens who passed away on November 7th. 2007. A memorial fund was posted on this site to which a number of people contributed. On the left hand side of this page you will find a link to Hub. Here we recognize Hub’s contribution to the Vines Garden Railroad and to the individuals who have donated in his memory.
As a registered non profit organization in the county of Gwinnett we primarily operate on donations made by you the general public and individual sponsors to the Vines Garden Railroad. For this reason we would like to keep the PayPal donation access on this website. Your continued support will help us offset the running costs and maintain this public garden railroad.
Thank-you
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to all of YOU who donated monies, material and equipment. In order that we continue to maintain and add to our rolling stock, buildings vehicles and scenery found in the area.
With special thanks to our “Corporate Sponsors”.
